It's Halloween inspired, cause Halloween it's coming...
A quick DIY gothic collar!
What do you need?
- Black lace
- Black ribbon
- some gems
- Glue for fabric or Attack glue
- Black sewing thread
- Lighter
- Pins
- Meter
- Scissors
Some easy steps to follow!
- Measure your neck circumference
- Cut the black lace as long as the measure (I cut two pieces of lace)
- Fix the two pieces of lace in the middle with some pins
- Sew them together
- Leave some black ribbon on one edge and fix it on the centre of the lace with a pin
- Fix all the ribbon to the lace, leave some more ribbon at the end and cut it
- Sew the ribbon to the lace with a sewing machine or by hands, you can also glue it! I sew it twice on the edes of the ribbon
- Measure the centre of the collar and glue the gems
- With a lighter, burn the final parts of the ribbon
And there you go!
A simple and cool collar to wear for Halloween or wherever you like!
