LEEF Fashion Label

I know, I didn't post anything in the last days.
But finally LEEF is started.
Leef is a Fashion Label project started a month ago with my friend Benny. We worked really hard on it and now we are online with our store!
Our first tshirt available to buy is the "Youtube Boyband" one.
We already delivered two of them, one in Italy and one in the UK.
I'm really excited for what's next :)

We are planning our second print, which I can't tell what it'll be, but it's going to be awesome! Hope you guys can check out my online store and feel free to share it with friends!
I want to tell you a couple of things.
The first one is that we ship WORLDWIDE! You have to go to the "SHIPPING" page on our store and check out which country you have to select for your shipping!
For example, if you live in any part of Europe, you have to select United Kingdom!
Second thing is that if you buy more than 1 tshirt, the shipping will be cheaper!
So, tell some friends and buy 2 of them ;)
I know there are a lot of youtube addicted in the world ahah!

Maybe it's on copyright... but who cares! I painted it for a friend of mine and I like it so much, simple black on grey that fits perfectly!

TYLER OAKLEY T-Shirt!

As you guys now, I went to ITAtube last week and painted some t-shirts for my favourite youtubers. Tyler Oakley is one of them, if you don't know him... well, what the hell is wrong with you? He is the most awesome, lovely, amazing and sweet guy on the entire planet!
Check him out on his YouTube channel and you will fall in love in just one second, trust me :)
I wanted to represent him with his typical glasses and most important with his adorable floral crown! He is so charming that he managed to give one to each member of One Direction and interview them with this spring girly look! Lovely.
"Forever me" is the main topic in his latest video "I had a vision of love" and i found it so powerful and true that i wanted to write it on the t-shirt.
So that's it! Funny fact is that I don't really know if Tyler saw it. We literally run towards him when we were supposed to go down the stage, and we hug him really quickly saying "this is a present for you!" And then we ran away ahahah

So many people are asking me about my tshirts right now, I'm so overwhelmed! I want to thank every single one of you so so much! You are all lovely!
I want to say that I'm planning to actually print them at the moment, and then sell the t-shirts online as soon as possible! So stay tuned!

YOUTUBE BOYBAND T-Shirts

This is my latest project: YouTube BoyBand T-shirts! Last week I went to Milan for ITAtube, the first ever italian conference about the YouTube world and I thought it would be nice to give the guys we were meeting some presents.
If you don't know who they are, check out their channels!
From the left: PointlessBlog (Alfie), Jim Chapman, TatcherJoe (Joe Sugg), Marcus Butler and Caspar Lee. I have to say I would never expect them to actually wear it, but it happened on the main stage of the convention during their BoyBand Challenge. I was so happy and shocked, I probably screamed a little bit too much :)

As usual, this t-shirts are handmade printed. I keep telling you this because so many people don't believe it and think they are printed, but they aren't!
It's all made by my little hands!
I hope the guys will see this post one day, there were too many people at the meets with them and I completely understand it's impossible to remember every single face.
But anyway, I'm so happy they wore and enjoy them!

At the moment I'm editing my blog post about the whole experience, it might take a while... Hopefully this week I'm also starting my YouTube channel too :)
Keep your eyes open!

ZOELLA & TANYA BURR inspired T-Shirts

Hello everyone! In the last week I was busy painting these new T-shirts and finally today I was able to take a couple of pictures to show you my work!
If you don't know, I'm a massive YouTube addicted and next week I'm going to ITAtube, first ever Italian YouTube Convention, so excited! My friend and I came up with this cute idea to give to our fave youtubers some handmade T-shirts inspired by them, so these were the ones for Zoella and Tanya. If you don't know who they are, I'll leave you some links down below to check them out because they are amazing!

Zoella, or Zoe Sugg, paint was inspired by her pets, two lovely guinea pigs that you can see in some of her vlogs and videos on her channel. Their names are Pippin and Percy and they are the cutest animals ever! I added some dots in the frame and in the top there's this large ribbon which I think looked nice.

Tanya T-shirt is similar, but I wanted to draw some make up inside the frame. Tanya is a make up blogger/vlogger/youtuber and she recently started her own makeup collection, so I thought it would be nice to paint this cute products and obviously the girly ribbon on the top.

Hope you like my new paintings! Leave me a comment down below and contact me on the links I'll leave at the end of this post!

THE NEW FOKKA: first gig and t-shirts

On sunday night I went to see a couple of friends playing in a local bar, "The New Fokka". It was their first ever gig, but it was really impressive. They asked me to design and paint their t-shirts, so I came up with this idea of a draw that reminded the old-vintage circus posters.
Very proud of the result!
I think their Facebook page will be available soon to check out, so keep your eyes open!
Meanwhile, this t-shirts are available to buy! All you need to do is contact me on twitter/facebook down below, or by mail here: ginineko@gmail.com

Also, thanks to Angelica Lazzaro for the pictures!
Feel free to comment and share this blog to who you want :)

I leave you with this amazing song by Mumford and Sons, Little Lion Man,  which the band played on their gig, enjoy!

DIY - Handmade painted T-shirts

What do I do for living? At the moment my main occupation is painting t-shirts! Sounds really strange, but it is actually what I do all day! It's the perfect combination between creativity and manuality. Sometimes it takes long time and lots of energy, but the final result always pays off.
It's also a good way to reuse old t-shirts that you don't wear from ages and a nice way to customize them. Every single piece is different and unique.

I want to show you what I use to paint my t-shirts and the main steps to do.

-CREALL TEX TEXTILEPAINT: acrylic based textile paint for natural and synthetic fabrics. Once dry, you iron for approx. You can wash you t-shirt up to 40 degrees.
-JAVANA TEXTIL ART MARKER: fabric marker with brush point, water-based, fixable by ironing and washable up to 60 degrees.
-JAVANA TEXI MAX: waterbased paint pen for light fabrics, same as the other marker.
-JAVANA TEX PENCIL: it's a simple pencil but you can transfer your draws on light fabrics by ironing.

These products can be found on this great site www.opitec.com
I recommend it for everyone interested in various hobbies, you can find pretty much everything!

-PRYM TRANSFER: it's a dark violet/blue pen with the same function of the pencil, it's more precise maybe, but I buy it only in my local haberdashery.

All these products are really cheap and easy to use!

When you have all these items, you can start!
First of all, you have to choose what to paint on your t-shirt. Personally, I use Adobe Photoshop and Wacom Bamboo tablet. I bought it on www.amazon.com at about 50 Euros and it's really helpfull! If you are a good drawer you'll find it easy to use.
When your draw is finished, print it!
Then trace the reverse of it with your transfer pen/pencil. I don't have a overhead, so I simply use a window and the sun light.
Last thing, iron the print on your t-shirt. Be careful to cover it with another paper or the ink will stick to the iron. All you need to do now is to paint the t-shirt with the textile paint, wait till it's dry and then fixate it by ironing.

I will post some of the works i've done in the next few days and they are available to buy if you want! :)
