SWEATSHIRT FEVER - TuesdayOutfit#5

I'm back with a TuesdayOutfit!
Lately I shopped a lot on Dresslink and I fell in love with some sweatshirts.
They are cool, easy to wear and they also can be elegant with a nice necklace and shoes. 

I wanted to show you 3 outfits with 3 different sweatshirts, I leave you all the links to check them out and buy one if you want! 

SATURN

Round neck, no hood, long sleeves, almost total black. The print is a super cool saturn with some astronauts hanging around (I'm obsessed with Interstellar the movie, so this was perfect for me ahah).

A pair of simple black skinny jeans, a pair of black boots, a black backpack and my handmade Galaxy Collar!

NERD

Round neck, no hood, long sleeves, cropped and black with a white massive write on the front "NERD". 

High waisted blue jeans, black boots, black backpack and a gold chain necklace.

UNICORN

Round neck, no hood, long sleeves, pastel pink with a floral unicorn on the front. 

This is not the best quality, it looked better on the pics. It's a thin material, see-through, and the print is glued on top. But it's effective!
High waisted blue jeans, brown leather shoes, small white bag (like a chanel), silver necklace and a pink flower.

OVERSIZE ME - TuesdayOutfit #4

Hello! TuesdayOutfit #4 is here!
I was really excited about this one because it's a little bit out of my comfort zone. 

It's all about oversize items mixed together and it can be scary to mix a big coat with a big and long skirt, but I love how it all came together!

• Black oversize coat, my mum used to wear this when she was young and I found it in my grandma's closet. It's really big and long, but it's so cosy and warm, you have no idea!
• Long grey skirt, from Tezenis. It's a really thin cotton, I wear this in winter with black tights underneath. I'm a small girl, so I wear this skirt as a high-waisted one
• White crop top, with long sleeves and round neck. This is actually handmade by me :) 
• Beige cardigan, or light brown with a touch of grey (?) Long and oversized cardigan from Promod. 
• Beige scarf, big, cosy and warm. Almost the same color as the cardigan. 
• Beige shoes like Clarks. They are not Clarks, I don't know where they are from but they were really cheap. You can style this outfit with also a pair of black shoes. 

This is how I style an oversize coat! 

Also, I put my hair in a messy bun, to make me look a little bit taller.

LAKE FLOWER - TuesdayOutfit #2

Hello everyone! 

I know it's not Tuesday, but I uploaded a new TuesdayOutfit anyway on my Youtube channel. I was inspired and I had time to waiste so, yep :)

This is a smarter look, I wore it on a night out with my friends, we went to a nice restaurant and we decided to dress up a little bit. We don't usually do that, like.. never! But it was fun.

• ERMANNO SCERVINO COAT. Don't worry, I didn't spend all that money on this coat. I found it in a thrift shop for ONLY 2.50Euros. And it was my size, so I couldn't leave it there all alone ahah It's really well made, it's a kind of lilac-gray, a cold color but I love it with my skin tone.
• OVS DRESS. This was also on sale (I don't spend a lot of money on clothes as you can see). It was about 5Euros. It's a tight to the body dress, with pink and blue flowers and black panels on the sides. This panels are amazing cause they make you look thinner and taller! 
• CAMOMILLA PURSE. Also from a thrift shop, about 2.50Euros. It's electric blue, which matches perfectly with the dress. It's a velvety material and has this interesting leather belt to run around the purse to close it. 
• BLACK HEELS. 30Euros from a shop called Pittarello which sells low budget shoes. They are super comfy, I walked and danced all night in them! 

So, this was my classy look for a night out, a low budget outfit! I suggest you to go to thrift stores every now and then because you'll never know what you can find!

How to look like HARRY STYLES

For my first look I choose a "going out" outfit with some of the most iconic clothes and accessories Harry Styles usually wears.

• Wide brim black wool hat by Pimkie 
• Rayban sunglasses
• Rolling Stones white Tshirt by a random friend
• Green plaid shirt by H&M
• Vintage high-waisted jeans shorts bought in Camden Town, London
• Rings (a lot of) mostly from H&M and thrift stores
• Black leather shoulder bag made by myself (own design)
• Black leather boots by my mum

 My second look is inspired by the outifit Harry wore at Louis mom wedding. It's pretty much black, he always wears this color when he has a special event.

• Wide brim black wool hat
• Rayban sunglasses
• Black lace bra by Intimissimi
• Transparent black shirt with batwing sleeves by OVS
• Highwaisted black skirt by H&M
• Black classic jacket
• Speckled dark scarf by Pull&Bear
• Black leather boots

Random look for this one. Harry is a massive GreenBayPackers fan, as I am (kind of). 

So, this is my tribute!

• Handmade wool green/gold hat

• White sneakers

Last but not least, "on stage" outfit! Inspired by what Harry wore on SanSiro gig night.

• DIY green headband
• Black&white patterned shirt found in my grandma's closet

LEEF Fashion Label

I know, I didn't post anything in the last days. 

But finally LEEF is started. 

Leef is a Fashion Label project started a month ago with my friend Benny. We worked really hard on it and now we are online with our store!

Our first tshirt available to buy is the "Youtube Boyband" one.
We already delivered two of them, one in Italy and one in the UK.
I'm really excited for what's next :)

We are planning our second print, which I can't tell what it'll be, but it's going to be awesome! Hope you guys can check out my online store and feel free to share it with friends!

I want to tell you a couple of things.

The first one is that we ship WORLDWIDE! You have to go to the "SHIPPING" page on our store and check out which country you have to select for your shipping!
For example, if you live in any part of Europe, you have to select United Kingdom! 

Second thing is that if you buy more than 1 tshirt, the shipping will be cheaper! 

So, tell some friends and buy 2 of them ;)

"DARK HORSE" summer trend 2014

"Dark Horse" is the brand new Katy Perry video and if you didn't watch it yet, you are out of this world! (I'll leave the YouTube link down below to enjoy this amazing song)
It's a powerful and strong track accompanied by a cool and colored video.
I always like to get a closer look to the fashion part: clothes, accessories, vibe of the entire outfits. And in this particular one, I really enjoyed the choices made by the fashion stylists. 
So I decided to share with you my thoughts about this incoming trend that will rule this summer season! Last year when I graduated in my Fashion studies, I designed a spring/summer 2014 collection and looking back to that book I recognized some similarities between my draws and "Dark Horse" video. 
I put all together and here it is the result, I hope someone will find inspiration for new summer outfits! :)




PALETTE 
The most important thing about this trend that I'm going to call "Dark Horse" is definitely color! Bright and powerful to wear next to darker ones.

-hot pink: this tone is the brightest one, it can be hot pink or coral pink if you prefer a less strong color. So you can go for the pinky side or for the almost orange one! My suggestion is if you have pale skin even in the summer, go for the hot pink. If you are tanned, the coral pink goes better with your skin. But you can try both and let me know which one works the best for you :)

-blue sky: go outside, look up and observe the sky's shade, a bright light-blue perfect for everyone. It works with every type of skin and hair color, even if you have red hair! You can choose a pale tone or a brighter one, it depends on how brave you are! 

-gold yellow: last but not least, this color is an evergreen. You can use gold in massive necklaces and jewelry or wear it with gold clothes. It's a strong color, so beware to don't put to much of it in your outfit! I think it looks better on tanned skins, on pale ones try to brighten up your look with small pieces of gold. 

-dark grey: this is not a summer color, but in this particular trend I'm going to use it to make a contrast. This is the key word for "Dark Horse" as you can see in Katy Perry's video. I didn't say black, because I think it's too strong. Dark grey is a perfect tone for darken a bit the look without being too boring. 

SHAPES
I want to focus on some cool pieces that you already can find in shops atm. 

-long skirts: they are so comfortable and wearable, really easy to use. I prefer the high waisted ones. If you are brave enough or if it's hot, you can choose some transparent fabrics or cutted shapes longer on the back and shorter on the front to show the legs. 

-high waist: you can find this items really everywhere right now. Last year was really hard for me to find high waisted shorts in Italy, I bought them in London. But last week I saw them in shops, so don't worry! I think this particular shade works really well on short girls (like me): your legs will look longer than they actually are and your waist will look thinner! 

-crop tops: I love this tops in every size! The only advice I want to give you is to remember to balance the volumes. If your skirt is long and large, go for a crop tight top. If you are wearing hot pants or skinny jeans (always high waisted!) try a large crop top! 

-round neck: this is for tops. I find the round neck really cool and on trend right now. I also like when it's a little bit high on the neck, actually! Let me know in the comments if you like it too!

INSPIRATION
Last but not least, I want to talk about a few more things! 

-egyptian decorations: "Dark Horse" trend is all about mosaic applications and gold accessories that bright up your look. Don't be afraid to try new stuff: heavy necklaces and earring, gold massive rings and bracelets. I suggest you to buy some cool egyptian inspired ones, as Katy Perry in her video! 

-discovery: this is the key word that inspired me while drawing these figures. "Dark Horse" is about Egypt, but why don't research for other ancient civilizations? I also like a Maya inspiration, I find it really interesting. 





I finally ended this massive post! My last advice is to search for strange and ancient fashion styles and adapt them to your personal style. And don't be afraid to try new things!
