SWEATSHIRT FEVER - TuesdayOutfit#5

I'm back with a TuesdayOutfit!
Lately I shopped a lot on Dresslink and I fell in love with some sweatshirts.
They are cool, easy to wear and they also can be elegant with a nice necklace and shoes.
I wanted to show you 3 outfits with 3 different sweatshirts, I leave you all the links to check them out and buy one if you want!

SATURN

Round neck, no hood, long sleeves, almost total black. The print is a super cool saturn with some astronauts hanging around (I'm obsessed with Interstellar the movie, so this was perfect for me ahah).
A pair of simple black skinny jeans, a pair of black boots, a black backpack and my handmade Galaxy Collar!
  1. SaturnSweatshirt - Dresslink
  2. Black jeans from OVS
  3. Boots from Pittarello
  4. Backpack from Pittarello
  5. Galaxy Collar

NERD

Round neck, no hood, long sleeves, cropped and black with a white massive write on the front "NERD".
High waisted blue jeans, black boots, black backpack and a gold chain necklace.

  1. NerdSweatshirt - Dresslink
  2. Jeans from Pimkie
  3. Boots from Pittarello
  4. Backpack from Pittarello
  5. Gold chain necklace from Ebay

UNICORN

Round neck, no hood, long sleeves, pastel pink with a floral unicorn on the front.
This is not the best quality, it looked better on the pics. It's a thin material, see-through, and the print is glued on top. But it's effective!
High waisted blue jeans, brown leather shoes, small white bag (like a chanel), silver necklace and a pink flower.

  1. UnicornSweatshirt - Dresslink
  2. Jeans from Pimkie
  3. Shoes I have no idea! They are made in Italy
  4. SilverNecklace - Dresslink
  5. Bag - Dresslink
  6. Flower from H&M

Thrift Shopping Tips

After my last video on my Youtube channel, a huge thrift haul, I decided to put together some advices for you guys.
I know that thrift shops are still a new and weird thing for some of you, so here they are my 5 tips to go thrift shopping!

  1. TAKE YOUR TIME: Don't go to a thrift shop if you are in a hurry or if you don't have time to waste. You will need an hour or maybe a few to check the entire store. So keep calm and prepare yourself to be patient!
  2. TREASURE HUNT: You need a lot of time to check every single corner of the shop. When you go thrifting, the most exciting part is to search that perfect item and it can be hide under a pile of rubbish. It's like a treasure hunt, again take your time and go for it!
  3. THINK OUTSIDE OF THE BOX: If you are looking for a specific kind of dress, you'll never find it. You could if you are extremely lucky, but it doesn't happen very often... You need to be open minded about clothing and most important, be creative!
  4. BE SELECTIVE: You have to be creative, but you don't have to buy rubbish just because it costs nothing! Be selective, if you don't need something don't pick it up. If it's not useful for your closet, leave it there!
  5. BE IN A GOOD MOOD: Thrif shopping should be fun! Don't take it too seriously and enjoy the moment :)

OVERSIZE ME - TuesdayOutfit #4

Hello! TuesdayOutfit #4 is here!
I was really excited about this one because it's a little bit out of my comfort zone.
It's all about oversize items mixed together and it can be scary to mix a big coat with a big and long skirt, but I love how it all came together!

  • Black oversize coat, my mum used to wear this when she was young and I found it in my grandma's closet. It's really big and long, but it's so cosy and warm, you have no idea!
  • Long grey skirt, from Tezenis. It's a really thin cotton, I wear this in winter with black tights underneath. I'm a small girl, so I wear this skirt as a high-waisted one
  • White crop top, with long sleeves and round neck. This is actually handmade by me :)
  • Beige cardigan, or light brown with a touch of grey (?) Long and oversized cardigan from Promod.
  • Beige scarf, big, cosy and warm. Almost the same color as the cardigan.
  • Beige shoes like Clarks. They are not Clarks, I don't know where they are from but they were really cheap. You can style this outfit with also a pair of black shoes.

This is how I style an oversize coat!
Also, I put my hair in a messy bun, to make me look a little bit taller.
Let me know if you like this look and don't forget to watch my video!

LAKE FLOWER - TuesdayOutfit #2

Hello everyone!
I know it's not Tuesday, but I uploaded a new TuesdayOutfit anyway on my Youtube channel. I was inspired and I had time to waiste so, yep :)
This is a smarter look, I wore it on a night out with my friends, we went to a nice restaurant and we decided to dress up a little bit. We don't usually do that, like.. never! But it was fun.

  • ERMANNO SCERVINO COAT. Don't worry, I didn't spend all that money on this coat. I found it in a thrift shop for ONLY 2.50Euros. And it was my size, so I couldn't leave it there all alone ahah It's really well made, it's a kind of lilac-gray, a cold color but I love it with my skin tone.
  • OVS DRESS. This was also on sale (I don't spend a lot of money on clothes as you can see). It was about 5Euros. It's a tight to the body dress, with pink and blue flowers and black panels on the sides. This panels are amazing cause they make you look thinner and taller!
  • CAMOMILLA PURSE. Also from a thrift shop, about 2.50Euros. It's electric blue, which matches perfectly with the dress. It's a velvety material and has this interesting leather belt to run around the purse to close it.
  • BLACK HEELS. 30Euros from a shop called Pittarello which sells low budget shoes. They are super comfy, I walked and danced all night in them!

So, this was my classy look for a night out, a low budget outfit! I suggest you to go to thrift stores every now and then because you'll never know what you can find!

COSY ULTRAVIOLET - Tuesday Outfit #1

Hello! This is my first attempt to do an Outfit kind of video on my channel.
I want to start this video series and post a "Tuesday Outfit" every week, short videos just to give you guys a cool idea on how to dress when you have nothing on your mind!

So, for my first one, I choose a casual look perfect for autumn.
There are some layers so you don't feel cold, but at the same time it's not too warm.
I'm wearing black thights, a pencil high waisted skirt (black) found in a chinese shop, a purple/blu sweater from OVS (about 20Euros), black boots from Pittarello with golden buckles (33Euros), a black "Bad Hair Day" beanie from Ebay (1Euro I think lol) and finally some sunglasses with greeny mirrored lenses from Dresslink (a chinese online shop).
You can go wherever you want with this outfit, to school or out at night. Really a cool and easy look to wear! I love to contrast the tight skirt with the baggy sweater.

Hope you enjoy my video :)

Halloween Tale

Hello everyone!
I just wanted to do a quick blog post about my last video on my channel.
It's a Halloween video, it doesn't tell a real story but I tried to experiment a little bit with the editing and I'm proud of the result :)
I think it's quite creepy... thanks to the American Horror Story weird remix!
Also, I want to thank my lovely girls who are in this video and my friend Debora for filming it as usual <3
Hope you like it.

DIY Halloween Collar

Hello everyone!
I'm back with another tutorial, easy and cheap as usual.
It's Halloween inspired, cause Halloween it's coming...
A quick DIY gothic collar!
What do you need?
  • Black lace
  • Black ribbon
  • some gems
  • Glue for fabric or Attack glue
  • Black sewing thread
  • Lighter
  • Pins
  • Meter
  • Scissors

Some easy steps to follow!
  1. Measure your neck circumference
  2. Cut the black lace as long as the measure (I cut two pieces of lace)
  3. Fix the two pieces of lace in the middle with some pins
  4. Sew them together
  5. Leave some black ribbon on one edge and fix it on the centre of the lace with a pin
  6. Fix all the ribbon to the lace, leave some more ribbon at the end and cut it
  7. Sew the ribbon to the lace with a sewing machine or by hands, you can also glue it! I sew it twice on the edes of the ribbon
  8. Measure the centre of the collar and glue the gems
  9. With a lighter, burn the final parts of the ribbon
And there you go!
A simple and cool collar to wear for Halloween or wherever you like!
Check out my vlog and my channel :)

DIY Headband Tutorial

Hello!
This is my tutorial for an easy and cheap headband (so fashion, thanks Harry Styles!)

What do you need?
  • A piece of stretchy fabric
  • A meter
  • A ruler
  • Fabric chalks or a pencil
  • Scissors
  • Pins
  • Sewing thread
Follow these simple steps to do your own headband!
  1. Take the meter and measure your head circumference.
  2. When you have it, subtract some cm from that number. My fabric is medium stretchy so I subtract 5/6 cm. If the fabric is really stretchy, subtract more. If not, then subtract less.
  3. With your fabric chalks or a pencil write down on your fabric the final lenght of the headband. Then sign the height. Mine is 24 cm because I want to fold it three times. Be sure you draw 90 degrees angles. Finish to draw the rectangle.
  4. Take the scissors and cut the rectangle you just drew.
  5. You now have to sew the ends of the headband. Lay the sides of the fabric one on the other. If your fabric has a forehand and a backhand, be sure to match the two forehand sides.
  6. Fix the fabric with some pins.
  7. Sew the fabric with a sewing machine using an elastic seam if you have one or you can sew it by hands. Two important things to remember are to leave a cm from the edge of the fabric and to secure the stitching at the start and at the end. A good way to do it is to go back and forth a couple of times.
  8. If you want you can iron the open sewing for a better result.
  9. Take your headband and fold the edge sides inside.
  10. You can leave it like this or you can sew on side to fix it better.

And this is the finish look!
I hope you like this tutorial and if you try to do one yourself, send me some pictures on twitter or instagram!
Check out my vlog about this :)
